Ryan is a self-proclaimed genius and skinner. He is the original founder of Aunt Betty Industries and CEO during the events of The Nameless Mod.
Pre-TNM Events[]
Ryan founded Aunt Betty Industries as a skinner, buying a plot of land in the mountains to make his automated clothing factory. He then hired every skinner in Forum City to work for him, gaining a monopoly on the skinner market. King Kashue suggests he hired 5 to 6 skinners, but only two, Breadfan and Hao Niu-rou can be found. Ryan only mentions these two by name when talking about skinners and Hao says that the others "disappear" when they suggest they're better at it than Ryan.
Aunt Betty Industries started using the money from skinning to develop labs under the factory, researching weapons and robotics. The company started developing Space Shuttles, making Scara B. King take interest in the company, intending to use the shuttles to reach HTTP GameSpy in the future after he discovered it. The Pulse suggests that Ryan sold out Aunt Betty Industries to Scara B. King, however Scara himself calls it a hostile takeover.
Events in TNM[]
While in Deus Ex Incarnate Ryan and his mercenaries take over the factory from WorldCorp's control, leading to an all out war between the two companies. The fight resulted in WorldCorp losing all of their helicopters, leaving only Kevo-sama's in the city.
When the player reaches the end of the Aunt Betty Industries Labs they will talk to Endar, who tells them that Ryan wants to talk. If talked to he asks Trestkon to help him overthrow the PlanetDeusEx government and GameSpy, asking the player to throw the planet into anarchy instead, blowing up the space station to rid the moderators of all their powers and making Scara lose all his money, the third ending.
Using the admin console on HTTP GameSpy Level 1, he can permanently be banned from ForumPlanet.

Post-TNM Events[]
If Ryan's ending was completed:

The administration is useless and the moderators are mortal again. I'm sure it'll take them some time to get used to that thought. Their days of secrecy and their blatant abuse of power are over. Scara has no power anymore, all communications are down and his credits are completely useless without the global banking system. Can't be long now until all the people he's hurt realize that and come knocking. Things'll be chaotic for a while, but as soon as everybody gets over the shock, everything'll start returning to normal. Only this time we'll all be in control." |
